Frequently asked questions

I don't have invoices for my furniture. Is that a problem?

No. It's the most common situation and exactly what the sworn declaration is for: it certifies to customs that the goods are used personal belongings with no commercial purpose, with a declared residual value. It's the standard procedure accepted at the Spanish–Andorran customs post.

Will I have to pay taxes at customs?

Furniture is exempt from duties under the EU–Andorra customs union. Only import VAT (21%) is charged on the declared value. With a realistic residual value for used furniture, it's usually a small amount. Your carrier's customs agent handles it with our file.

Can the carrier present your documents directly?

Yes. The file includes the document checklist, the signable clearance authorisation and the draft consignment note. The export and import customs declarations (SAD) are processed by the carrier's customs agent based on our documentation, which is exactly what they need.

How long does it take?

You'll receive the complete file by email within a maximum of 24 working hours from when we confirm your request. If your shipment is urgent, tell us in the form and we'll prioritise it.

What if customs asks for changes?

We fix it free of charge. Revisions arising from customs or carrier requirements are included in the price.
